The Sufi Healing Order was established by Hazrat Inayat Khan circa 1925.

The special privilege of healing involves honoring and supporting the journey of the soul as it experiences, awakens, realizes, integrates, and expresses itself through the body, the miraculous vehicle through which it functions. Healing requires us to listen attentively, and respond to the way in which the soul expresses its yearning for wholeness. It facilitates an unveiling and development of our inner capacity, and as that capacity increases we begin to heal. With inner development one finds that one's thought, glance, words, touch, and even presence begin to express a healing atmosphere; and as a byproduct we become a beacon of healing and inspiration for others and the world.

The mission of the Healing Order is to awaken humanity to the power of the Divine spirit to heal.

The Order encourages each person to:
• Honor the depth of his/her own faith, orientation or religion
• Honor the faith of others
• Utilize the infinite resourcefulness within one's own being
• Unlock the tools for healing that reside in each of us.

With every breath and thought dedicated toward healing we are contributing to the evolution of a healing consciousness for the whole of humanity.

The Sufi Healing Order’s primary activity is to facilitate group healing services that operate at a distance through attunement, prayer, breath, and concentration. This healing is available to anyone (free of charge) by email. The Sufi Healing Order also offers Healing classes, seminars, retreats and distance trainings.

The Healing Order emphasizes love, light, and life as tools of healing. These are the transformative resources of the mystic; they are also the tools of the healer.

Every person has hidden within themselves an innate capability to heal that is waiting to be unveiled and developed. Throughout the centuries — the millennia — there have been schools of healing that help people to awaken this capacity. The work of the Healing Order is to offer meditative practices and techniques that develop this inner capacity.
